Medellín and the christian theological ethics
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article seeks to bring elements of the Concluding Document of the II Conference of Medellin (1968) to the Christian theological ethics in the Latin American continent. Theological ethics was not one of the topics explored by the Conference, but in the global perspective one perceives several important elements. In this sense, the question of poverty and of the poor that is central in Medellin should also be central to the theological ethics and go to the roots of the problems that cause poverty and oppression with a view to liberation.
