Script of the Letter A of the Dictionary of Slavery and Freedom

Abstract

On the 28th of May 2018, the release of the “Dictionary of Slavery and Freedom”, organized by Lilia Moritz Schwarcz and Flávio dos Santos Gomes, took place at the Eva Herz Theatre, at Librarian Culture. To unveil the multiple facets of slavery, the authors developed a thematic Dictionary, with 50 critical texts. This essay presents reading notes of the 8 Letter A entries, aiming to show their profile and content.
