Abstract
The author examines in this article the Christological title of High and Eternal Priest in the Letter to the Hebrews and presents the existential, theological and ecclesial consequences of the incarnation in dialogue with the community in which this letter appeared. In this way, the article delves into the Christology of the Letter to the Hebrews, which rescues the experience of the incarnation of Jesus Christ in the light of the New Covenant established with the blood of the High and Eternal Priest Jesus Christ. The article shows us that the theology of the priesthood of Christ is a horizontal, solidary and merciful ecclesiology born out of a new Christological paradigm in New Testament literature.
