Abstract

The author uses ecotheological hermeneutics to talk about Pope Francis' ethical-ecological prophetism, in the current context of crises (wounds?), and the need for an integral ethics. Therefore, he considers that in Laudato Si 'Pope Francis both denounces the aggressions that cause socio-environmental wounds, as well as presents an ecotheological announcement, based on some elements of the deposit of faith and of the Church's tradition. In this sense, it reflects on some lines of dialogical action and the contributions to an ecotheological ethic that exercises the care and well- being of all in the common home, without forgetting mainly the most vulnerable: the poor.
